Legendary's history in the Destin area extends back to summer of 1972, when Peter Bos, founder and CEO of Legendary Realty, chanced upon a charming beach town in Northwest Florida. At the time, it boasted little more than silk-snow sands, cerulean waters and weatherworn fishing boats. A simple billboard at the entrance to town heralded it as "The world's luckiest fishing village."

In the years since, Legendary and Destin have both grown. After developing the renowned resort of Sandestin, which kindled an affinity for Destin in many vacationers, Bos founded Legendary to assist people wishing to live the Destin dream.
